Salad Dressings and Dipping Oils: basil, clove, dill, fennel, oregano, nutmeg, peppermint, ginger, lavender, lemon, orange, rosemary, spearmint, tarragon & thyme. Add essential oils to your olive oil.
Potato salad: add 1-2 drops of dill oil to potato salad.
Herbs: take any recipe that calls for dried herbs and replace with Young Living essential oils.
Tomato sauce: add 2 drops of basil oil to tomato sauce, 1 drop of rosemary and 1 drop of thyme oil.
Spaghetti sauce – add 2 drops of oregano oil to homemade spaghetti sauce
Meat –Sauces & Rubs: basil, dill, fennel, ginger, lemon, lemongrass, marjoram, orange, pepper, rosemary, sage, tarragon & thyme.
Smoothies: add orange, lemon or rose oil.
Creme de menthe Ice Cream: add peppermint oil to a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
Cakes, Frosting, Puddings, Fruit pies: cinnamon, ginger, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, nutmeg, orange, peppermint, rose, spearmint & tangerine.
Pie Crusts:use Young Living’s V-6 Mixing Oil to make very flaky crusts.
Herbal Teas: chamomile, cinnamon, ginger, lavender, lemon, peppermint , rose, spearmint & valerian. Wait until your tea water has cooled enough before adding ONE drop as this will help retain the beneficial properties/nutrition of the essential oil.
Refreshing Drinks: lemon, grapefruit, orange, peppermint, rose, spearmint & tangerine.
Flavored Honey or Blue Agave: basil, chamomile, cinnamon, clove, ginger, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, lime, orange, peppermint, rose, spearmint, tangerine. Warm the honey slightly so you can stir in the essential oil.
