Stop bleeding: Apply helichrysum oil neat to cuts, scrapes, and all types of wounds to stop the bleeding. Geranium is also useful for stopping bleeding.

Vomiting: Nutmeg essential oil, peppermint, fennel, patchouli, lavender essential oil or Di-Gize essential oil blend. Patchouli tends to be a very effective oil when dealing with vomiting. The compounds in this oil are so helpful because they reduce the gastrointestinal muscle contractions associated with vomiting. Dilute as needed, massage 1-3 drops on the mastoids behind the ear and over the navel every hour. You can also place a warm compress over the stomach after the oils are applied. Directly inhale the oils 4-6 times per hour or as needed. Place 1-4 drops on your tongue.
Relieve pain: Apply PanAway, Relieve It blends, or peppermint essential oil neat or diluted on site of soft tissue injuries or headaches. For open wounds, use lavender essential oil.
Prevent infection: Melrose blend or Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil disinfects and heals wounds of all types. Apply neat on location or dilute with a carrier oil. Thieves or Purification blends can be used for further disinfection. Apply neat or diluted directly to wound as needed.
Nausea: Natural remedy for nausea: Di-Gize essential oil blend, ginger essential oil, nutmeg essential oil, peppermint essential oil, wintergreen essential oil, spearmint essential oil, tarragon essential oil. Dilute as needed, massage 1-3 drops on the mastoid bones behind the ear and over the navel every hour. You can also put a warm compress over the stomach after the oils are applied. Directly inhale the oils 4-6 times per hour or as needed. You can also put 1-4 drops on your tongue. If you can swallow water, put 6 drops of Di-Gize blend in a cup of water. Place it in your mouth and swish it around, then swallow.
Animal bites: Cleanse the bite with a couple of drops of Thieves or Melrose oil blends neat or diluted. Diluted peppermint oil may be put around the bite for pain.
Relieve shock: Inhale peppermint, frankincense, and/or Valor blend oils. Diffuse 50/50 and apply to temples and back of neck. Also, apply vetiver oil to the big toes and temples. Inhale.
Heat exhaustion: Apply peppermint essential oil to feet and across shoulders. Apply a cold, damp towel over the area for further cooling. Peppermint oil may also be added to drinking water to keep cool.
Head injury: Apply 1 drop each of frankincense and peppermint essential oils to soft palate 2-3 times a day or as needed.
Motion Sickness: Peppermint essential oil, ginger essential oil, lavender essential oil, patchouli essential oil, Valor blend, Di-Gize essential oil, or M-Grain essential oil blends. Peppermint and Di-Gize blend are great oils when dealing with any kind of motion sickness. Dilute as needed, massage 1-3 drops on the mastoids behind the ear, over the navel and on the wrists at least every hour. Put a warm compress over the stomach after the oils are applied. Directly inhale the oils 4-6 times per hour or as needed. Place 1-4 drops on your tongue.
Prevent motion sickness: Start at least several hours before you travel. Mix 2 drops each of peppermint and ginger essential oils diluted with 5 drops of V-6 Oil Complex (vegetable oil); then put 6-10 drops on the chest and stomach at least 1 hour before traveling.
Electric shock: Apply frankincense essential oil neat along the temples, neck, and spine. For electrical burns, apply helichrysum essential oil to help the tissue to regenerate.
Chemical exposure: Apply 3-7 drops of lavender, lemon, or Purification oils on area which had chemical contact. Wrap lightly with cotton bandages, keep on overnight.
